Colombian singer Shakira reportedly had a bad cookie mishap while filming the blind auditions for the fourth season of 'The Voice,' Fox News Latino reported on Wednesday. Citing gossip site EnelBrasero.com, Fox News Latino said the pregnant songstress "badly chipped one of her teeth after biting into a cookie."
The 35-year-old singer, who took over Christina Aguilera for the upcoming spring season, allegedly took the tooth accident with "excellent humor" despite having to head over for an emergency dentist appointment.
According to EnelBrasero.com, production for 'The Voice' was forced to come to a stop until Shakira had her "famous smile" back in shape. Production on the singing competition resumed to normal filming and Shakira later laughed about the situation, the gossip site said.
Shakira joins new judge Usher as well as longstanding judges Adam Levine and Blake Shelton on the show's upcoming spring season. Fellow veteran judges Christinia Aguilera and CeeLo Green will be taking the season off to pursue other projects.
The Colombian superstar recently confirmed rumors that she was expecting a baby with FC Barcelona boyfriend Gerard Pique. The baby, a boy, is the first for the couple. Shakira and Pique met in 2010 during the filming of her music video for her South Africa World Cup single "Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)." They later confirmed their relationship in March 2011.
According to Colombian magazine Gente the couple is expecting their son in January.
