"Hannibal" is still one of the best TV series out there and with the near premier of their third season, fans are on the edge of their seats for some tasty and twisted reveals.

Fans of NBC's "Hannibal" are gearing up to welcome the return of Dr. Hannibal Lecter in the new Season 3 premiere of the highly anticipated crime thriller. Lecter walked out from a bloodbath in the last episode of Season 2. After his identity was found out by Will Graham, played by English actor Hugh Dancy, Lecter was able to make an emotional escape. Nobody suspected where the series would go from there especially after Will, Abigail Hobbs, Alana Bloom and Jack Crawford were all left to die.

Fans remember the emotional one-on-one scene with Lecter and Will in the last episode as the former found out that he was betrayed by the person he has grown to trust. After revealing his plans to escape with Will and Abigail to start anew, the doctor had no choice but to stab his frenemie to death.

Much to the surprise of fans, however, Lecter and Will will return in the third season of the NBC drama. During its first airing, nobody believed in its potential. After two seasons, "Hannibal" proves and continues to be one of the most disturbingly artistic and intelligent shows on TV.

In the teaser premier for "Hannibal" season 3, Lecter is seen with colleague Dr. Bedelia Du Maurier played by the Gillian Anderson. In a promo video, titled "Cannibal in Paris," the two disguise themselves as a married couple. With his classic charm and silver-tongue, Lecter is seen making a speech in front of his guests before divulging in a feast he - of course - cooked himself.

According to TV.com, Will will make his first appearance in the season on episode two. Bedalia was upgraded to a regular and fans expect that the forthcoming episodes will dig in much deeper into her indistinct relationship with Lecter.

In a report by IB Times, Laurence Fishburne, who plays Jack Crawford, noted that the show is something that will leave their audience guessing.

"It's a world and a story and a group of characters that people are familiar with, that people love and enjoy. With [showrunner Bryan Fuller] at the helm, he's been able to sort of take [the viewers on a ride] that even though they know what's coming, they don't know what's coming," Fishburne said.

"Hannibal" season 3 will premiere on June 4 at 10 p.m. on NBC.
