Gerard Pique is one happy camper. From his Spanish Cup victory with his Barcelona team, his lovely wife Shakira gave him a little public display of affection as soon as the crowds dispersed from the coliseum.
The athlete has a lot to celebrate. After helping his team score another Spanish Cup victory over the weekend, the superstar player was immediately greeted by his long-time girlfriend, Shakira. Looking casual with just a shirt, black shorts and hair in its natural curly state, the "Can't Remember To Forget You" singer stepped onto the grass to plant a kiss on Pique's cheeks.
In a report by E! Online, the couple was more than happy to share their public display of affection moment. It was a proper time to celebrate for the long-time lovers. Shakira even posted a couple of pictures on her official Instagram account to show full support for her lucky boyfriend.
"Campeones campeones oe oe oe!!! Shak," she captioned in a photo of her giving Pique a kiss after their win.
The couple continued the celebration the following day with Pique's family. She shared a photo on Instagram where the singer sits behind her friend in a motorcycle while giving a thumbs up.
There were no signs of their two boys Milan and Sasha throughout the weekend celebration, but it was probably because their youngest is still four-months old as cited by Daily Mail.
Sasha whose name is believed to be of Greek and Russian descent means "Warrior" and "Defendant of mankind."
The Colombian gave birth to their youngest tot in a Barcelona hospital where Shakira underwent a Caesarean section. The singer and the football player reserved the whole floor of the Hospital Quiron Teknon for their son's birth last January. Sasha was delivered by the same doctor that took care of Shakira during her first pregnancy.
The sexy singer and the Spanish football player have been together for five years. They first met on the set of Shakira's "Waka Waka" music video for the 2010 FIFA World Cup where Pique had an appearance. Their romance blossomed since then. Although some are wondering as to when the two will finally tie the knot, Shakira said whether she marries or not, it will not change what they have now.
"We already have what's essential, you know? We have a union, a love for each other, and a baby. I think that those aspects of our relationship are already established, and marriage is not going to change them. But if I'm ever going to get married, he's the one," the singer said.
Pique just recently celebrated his 300th game with FC Barcelona. He was also awarded as the highest goalscorer for the first team. In addition to that, the successful football player also plays for the National team.
