Kim Kardashian Poses as Marilyn Monroe for Vogue Brasil

Kim Kardashian's dream came true as she covers for Vogue Brasil as the blonde bombshell, Marilyn Monroe. The magazine picked the 34-year-old reality star as their cover for the June issue, which was taken during Kim's 21-day platinum blonde hair period.

Kim mimics the iconic Monroe as she poses in a strapless bustier with hair styled short and colored platinum blonde. The caption in Portuguese reads, "Bombshell effect: better representative of the curvaceous silhouette rising in the red carpets."

"This is the second cover of the June edition, which celebrates the body, Vogue Brasil starring Kim Kardashian - symbol of the new silhouette for high in the red carpets," the publication wrote to describe another photo of Kim.

Meanwhile, the dubbed "Mother of Selfie" released some statements for her haters. Inside the issue she spoke about the negative comments she often gets via her social media accounts. "I challenge anyone to try to do everything I do and then tell me whether or not I have talent," the mother of one said.

The Daily Mail reports that the objective of the shoot was to present Kim Kardashian as the Marilyn Monroe of 2015 given that she is also famous for her curvaceous figure and derriere. Everything else just fell into place for the reality star at the time, especially since Kim was already platinum blonde. 

Kim famously sported the blonde look from March 5 till the 26^th. She mentioned that she had always wanted to try the hairstyle but it was a lot of hard work to maintain. She did not stay blonde for long because it took a lot of maintenance. "Being blonde is a full time job!" she captioned in a photo she posted while her hair was being treated.

Kim was finally able to penetrate Vogue which is considered one of the most esteemed fashion magazines to date. Kanye West's wife did her first Vogue cover for the Australia edition back in January and perhaps one of her most memorable moments was when she covered Vogue US edition back in April 2014 with her rapper husband.

Although Kim is more public when it comes to posting intimate photos with her husband, Kanye wasn't shy to admit his love for Kim when interviewed by GQ magazine. He admits that he knows that marriages take work and his marriage to Kim is not an exception.

"Anyone that's in a relationship knows that in order to get to the point to get married and then to be married and to then carry on, it needs that work put into it," Kanye confessed. "I love her. This is who I want to be next to and be around."
