There were speculations that Eva Longoria is planning to build a "fitness empire" for her Latina community. However, the rumor was quickly dismissed by Longoria herself claiming that the news has no truth in it.
There was an earlier report that said that the Latina actress wants to create her "fitness empire." According to the US Edition of OK magazine (via Washington Post) claims that Longoria has already set her sights on the fitness world and has plans to improve the fitness of the Hispanic women.
"Eva noticed that there is a major lack of health resources for Latinas, so she wants to work with the chefs at her restaurant, Beso, to produce video segments about diet and nutrition in addition to her own Jane Fonda-style exercise DVDs," said a source who was interviewed by the magazine.
The insider even added that Netflix is already looking to partner with the former "Desperate Housewives" actress to be able to push through with the fitness program. Apparently, the 40-year-old actress sees the potential of the "fitness empire" and could turn it to a real moneymaker.
The rumors could in fact be true since Eva admitted in previous interviews that doing exercise is an important aspect of her life. She said, "I'm a runner. I don't need a gym, I'll go run anywhere. I was in Australia, Budapest and Paris. In Australia, I went running around the botanical gardens and when I got to Paris I ran around the Eiffel tower. And when I was in Budapest I ran around their little medieval section passing the castle. It's truly one of the best forms of exercising and the best thing to do while traveling because you get to sight-seeing and as I'm running I was really standing under the Eiffel tower at seven in the morning going 'This is so cool!'"
However, a report from GossipCop surfaced to set things straight about the actress' planned "fitness empire." The magazine noted that Eva Longoria is not looking to develop a "fitness empire" and everything is all tabloid news and hearsay. The clarification was even made more solid by the sexy actress herself.
"Have no idea where this story came or where they got these quotes?! But I have ZERO desire to do a 'fitness empire" or "fitness video'. Hahaha #WhereDoTheyGetThisStuff," Longoria posted on her WhoSay account.
Fans who are disappointed with the news can visit her Instagram account, where she sometimes posts workout pictures. The account is always open for viewing for those who are looking for some "fitinspiration."
