Hurricane Sandy has the social media network buzzing as Twitter users post their pictures online.

What is officially the largest tropical storm in history, Hurricane Sandy has even become a Twitter page known as @AHurricaneSandy.

The storm has been and will continue to hit the northeastern US until Wednesday with winds ranging from 30 to 100 miles per hour along the New Jersey to Connecticut coast.

The storm has caught the attention from Twitter users worldwide with terms such as Atlantic City, East Coast, FEMA, New York, #Frankenstorm, and #Sandy, to name a few.
