Last week's episode of the CW's hit vampire drama 'The Vampire Diaries' left viewers on the edge of suspense as new mysterious vampire hunter Connor Jordan (Todd Williams) was introduced to Mystic Falls. Fans also witness as Elena (Nina Dobrev) struggled with her newfound vampire hunger urges.
The newly fanged vamp got some help from her boyfriend's brother Damon (Ian Somerhalder) in last week's episode, entitled "Memorial," but she may not be able to count on him much longer if everything goes according to plan. In sneak peaks for this week's episode, called "The Rager," Damon reminds his brother Stefan (Paul Wesley) of the deal they made: who ever was not picked by Elena had to skip town. According to Damon, that's exactly what he plans to do.
Of course, there's one thing Damon wants to take care of before leaving Mystic Falls and that involves the town's new vampire hunter. "I'm going to find him and I'm going to eat him," Damon tells Stefan of his Connor hunting plan. But like all things in Mystic Falls, that may prove to be easier said than done.
In clips for "The Rager," Connor is seen threatening Matt (Zach Roerig) at school as he pursues the many vampires living in the town. Whether Matt rats out his friends, including two of his ex-girlfriends remains to be seen. Stefan also makes sure to warn Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) to stay clear of Connor, although whether Stefan knows that Jeremy can see Connor's mysterious arm tattoo is unknown.
'Vampire Diaries' fans will also get to see as Rebekah (Claire Holt) tries to win back Matt after causing his and Elena's bridge accident. However, Matt doesn't look to eager to make life any easier for Rebekah, even with her troubles with troublesome and murderous brother Klaus (Joseph Morgan).
'Vampire Diaries' S4E3, "The Rager," airs on Thursday, October 25 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
