What can fans expect from Jesse Eisenberg's role Lex Luthor in the upcoming "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" movie?
First on the list is that he is likely to be bald. Well, Eisenberg already said it before in previous interviews. We reported earlier this month that it getting his hair shaved is the most terrifying thing he had to do for the movie.
"It was really strange...It's the kind of thing where you felt you could really damage yourself...The face is all computer-generated...It's terrifying...It's terrifying," Eisenberg said during his appearance on "Late Night With Seth Meyers." (via MTV)
"I came out of the womb with a full head of hair, so I've never been able to touch my scalp - yes, it's freezing!...It's really strange. You want to wear a helmet," the actor said (via The Hollywood Reporter).
Aside from that, evey fan is now keeping an eye on Luthor's warsuit. What would it look like? Would he even wear it? The Young Folks said the "warsuit is one of the iconic 'costumes' in comic book history-the defining weapon of a major villain."
While Lex Luthor can be many different persons -- a genius, a businessman, or a real estate titan, it has been noted that Eisenberg's portrayal of the character would be more like a "young, tech billionaire," to quote The Young Folks which in turn cited Screen Rant.
Meanwhile, Comic Book's source described Lex Luthor as "a slimy businessman we can all despise...You are going to hate this guy. You are going to root for him to be punched by Supes when he weasels his way out of legal trouble. He is cocky and confident because he is that good at what he does. He's a billionaire who knows he is more powerful than the Senator and Congressman visiting because he's a billionaire."
"This is a high tech mega billion company with a shiny veneer. It's Apple/Google, colorful and consumer friendly public image but serious potential for Lex's deviousness..." the source added.
The movie's director Zack Snyder also shed some light about Eisenberg's character.
"He's not any of the Lexes that you've seen, that's for sure, other than him being a captain of industry and one person to the world and another person to himself. And bald, of course...Our Lex is disarming and he's not fake. He says what he believes and he says what's on his mind. If you can unravel the string and decipher what he means, it's all there," Snyder told Entertainment Weekly.
Aside from Eisenberg, the movie's main cast list includes Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Jason Momoa as Aqua Man, and Amy Adams as Lois Lane. It will hit theaters in March 2016.
