Rob Gronkowski to Release New Book Under Derek Jeter Publishing

Derek Jeter's publishing house will publish Rob Gronkowski's new book.

Jeter Publishing, the recently retired New York Yankee's business venture, has partnered with publishing house Simon and Schuster and announced that it will publish a book by Rob Gronkowski, titled, "It's Good to be The Gronk". According to the publishers, the upcoming book will bring the readers from the locker room to the VIP room, based on a report by USA Today.

Simon and Schuster also announced that the book will delve into the details of the New England Patriots star's life. "It's Good to be The Gronk" will feature the tight end's serious injury which almost ended his career and amazing return in Superbowl XLIX. Gronk will provide readers with a close and personal view in his private life.

Derek Jeter said in a report by Sports Illustrated, "Rob Gronkowski stands out on and off the field to his fans and peers alike. We're looking forward to helping him share some insight into what makes him tick."

Gronk also said about his new book, based on a report by Boston Globe, "If you want to be a chiseled six foot six inch All-Pro football player who makes big money to score touchdowns and win Super Bowls, and if you like to have just as much fun with your family and enjoying life, then this book is for you!"

CBS Sports reported that Gronk's new book is highly anticipated by fans, especially after the announcement that it is going to be fun and entertaining, compared to many other athlete autobiographies that take on a cold and mono-toned approach.

Gronkowski was drafted in the 2010 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots in the second round. He was the 42nd overall pick and signed a deal for four years with the Patriots, valued at $6 million, including the $1.76 million signing bonus. Gronk has gained popularity over the years and has a strong social media following with over 1.8 million Twitter followers. He has built a reputation for raking in a lot of touchdowns, eventually helping the Patriots win Super Bowl XLIX in February 2015.

Gronkowski's book will most likely discuss his life in and out of the football field and how he managed to average over 10 touchdowns per NFL season.

According to Simon and Schuster, the book is listed at $26 and will be available at around July 14, 2015.
