"Fast and Furious" actress Michelle Rodriguez recently revealed that she "went crazy" after the death of her co-star Paul Walker. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the actress divulged some of the things that happened to her after Walker died from a car crash more than a year ago.
Here is what Rodriguez said: "I actually went on a bit of a binge...I went crazy a little bit...I went pretty crazy. A lot of the stuff I did last year I would never do had I been in my right mind."
"I was pushing myself to feel...I felt like nothing I could do could make me feel alive, so I just kept pushing myself harder and harder. I was traveling and I was having sex. And I was just trying to ignore everything that I was feeling."
"I could see Paul once every two years and just know there was another human on the planet who's deep like me, who loves like that...When that disappears, you wonder, 'Wait a minute, what do I hold on to?' There was nothing to tether me to this existence: 'Why am I f-ing here? And, like, why'd you leave without me?'"
Then suddenly, the actress said she stood up one day and realized that life matters. "I just woke up (one morning) with a profound respect for living...I stood tall one day and I said, 'You know what, Michelle? Stop f-ing hiding. Go manifest.' And all of a sudden, I picked myself up and started hustling."
We earlier reported that Rodriguez revealed that she wanted to take a break from acting following Walker's death and her recent heartbreaks. There were rumors that Rodriguez dated hunk actor Zac Efron as well as British supermodel Cara Delevingne.
"This year has been too much and I need some time out...I've been working hard and now I want time off. That's what I do. Work hard, play hard. I don't think that's much to ask or want," she was quoted by the London Evening Standard as saying. The actress also said she wanted to write movie scripts or even TV shows.
More than a year after Walker's death, Rodriguez has never forgotten about his friend and co-star. Last November 30, Michelle posted a photo of Paul Walker on Twitter in light of the actor's death.
I love you Paul. Your living in the hearts of all who love you for sure. Sending mad love out to Heaven @SupportROWW pic.twitter.com/q9qDx8PXob

Meanwhile, another one of Walker's friend and co-star, Vin Diesel, has revealed on Facebook that his daughter's name was inspired by Paul Walker. Diesel's daughter with long time partner Paloma Jimenez has been named Pauline.
Walker will star in the upcoming movie "Furious 7" with Michelle Rodriguez, Jason Statham, Lucas Black, Tyrese Gibson, Jordana Brewster, Vin Diesel, Djimon Hounsou, Kurt Russell, Tony Jaa, Dwayne Johnson, Nathalie Emmanuel, John Brotherton, and Iggy Azaela. The movie directed by James Wan will hit theaters on April 3. Watch its trailer here:
