Jennifer Lopez expressed her admiration toward "Home" co-star Rihanna in an interview with E! News. And when asked about possibly doing a duet with the latter, Lopez excitedly replied "Absolutely, who wouldn't."
Apparently, Lopez is a huge fan of Rihanna when she told E!, "I feel like she's such a girl's girl, which I love, because I'm a girl's girl and she seems very sweet."
Although the pair has been friends for years, they only had the chance to work together in a movie titled "Home" in which they play as a mother and daughter tandem. The Latina singer added that she admired Rihanna for her edginess, despite the fact they don't interact in the film since it was animated.
So are fans seeing a Jennifer Lopez and Rihanna duet anytime soon?
Lopez, still single after her breakup with Casper Smart, has been very busy taking good care of her twins especially Emme, she told E! News. She says she is looking forward to watch "Home" with her kids especially that the movie has a mother-daughter storyline, a perfect film for mothers to watch for with their children.
Though busy with mommy duties, it is clear that JLo is still up to the music collaboration.
Rihanna also shared the same sentiments when interviewed by Extra, MTV reported. Apparently, the Barbados singer expressed her likeliness to pair up with the "Jenny from the Block" singer in the music area.
However Rihanna joked of probably needing some "butt pads" to compete with Lopez. "She's putting down 20 year-olds at forty something. It's unheard of," she added.
Although the possibility of a duet is still in a blur, with both parties not letting out any confirmation, one thing that's certain is that Lopez and Rihanna are both looking forward to it.
For now, Lopez and Rihanna have released their separate individual tracks for the movie, "Home". E Online, in another report, said that both singers released their own tracks just hours apart. The songs mentioned are "Feel the Light" by Lopez and "Towards the Sun" by Rihanna.
