WWE RAW: Brock Lesnar Still Part of Dark Match?

Brock Lesnar is said to be appearing on WWE Monday Night RAW on March 9.

After he walked out on Vince McMahon and missed his scheduled appearance earlier in February, talks circulated that the Beast Incarnate might not reappear until WrestleMania 31. More talks spread after he was seen sitting ringside with UFC president Dana White at UFC 184. Fans speculated that Lesnar might only be waiting to complete his contract before finally moving back to the Octagon.

WrestlingInc reported that Brock's appearance for RAW on March 9 at the CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh is still being advertised as well as his slated appearance on RAW in Los Angeles on March 23 and post-WrestleMania appearance on RAW in San Jose. There is still a huge possibility that the WWE World Heavyweight Champion will be present at any or all these venues and dates.

For March 9, the dark match will feature John Cena, Roman Reigns, Randy Orton and Dean Ambrose versus Seth Rollins, Big Show, Bray Wyatt and Kane, based on a report by WrestleNewz.

Bleacher Report wrote that regardless of whether Lesnar decides to stay with WWE or move back to UFC, he had a big role and contribution to WWE. Basically, the WWE wanted a prizefighter, and they got exactly that in Lesnar. Roman Reigns is gearing up to battle Brock on the grand stage at WrestleMania 31 and is expected to win. It was, after all, the strategy for both wrestlers. No organization could hold on to Lesnar for very long and his stint as WWE World Heavyweight Champion was supposed to pave the way for a more loyal WWE Superstar, such as Reigns, just as John Cena was.

Lesnar's contract demands may be unreasonable for some but he has a vital role in being the middleman in the transition from John Cena and Roman Reigns. While Reigns was being honed to be the new admirable champion of the WWE, Lesnar was always there to appease the crowd, and he did a good job.

In a WrestleZone report, Brock has established a reputation for doing what he wants whenever he wants to do it. His role in WWE is coming to an end at WrestleMania 31. He will also do so in his own terms. On the other end, his antics at UFC 184 and rumored plans to return to MMA may also be a ploy to warrant a bigger paycheck from WWE. Either way, Lesnar proves he calls the shots.
