Kobe 10 Shoes Release Dates: Kobe X 'Vino' Drops March - Price, Photos & Where to Buy?

The Nike Kobe X is set to be released in a new colorway.

Dubbed the Kobe X "Vino", the sneaker features poison green, sequoia and volt tones. It will officially be launched on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. EST. The shoe will be available in full family sizing. The adult size will retail at $180, the girl size at $135, the preschool size at $85 and the toddler size at $60. The Kobe X will be available on Nike.com, Footlocker.com, Eastbay.com and other select Nike retail stores. Kobe X "Vino" apparel will also be available beginning Saturday.

Nike.com reveals that the shoe was inspired by Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant's work ethics, determination to win, and intense focus on the court. As a result of his efforts, the Lakers have won five world championships. Bryant also celebrates his team success off the court by spending time with his teammates off the court.

The Kobe X "Vino" was taken from Kobe's belief that sharing a meal and drinking a glass of wine was an excellent way to bond with teammates as well as establish trust and teamwork. The colors on the shoe were taken from green grapes that were pressed to make fine white wine.

Photos posted Sneaker News revealed that the Kobe X "Vino" will feature poison green and sequoia tones throughout. The midsole features a translucent poison green color and the visible Air Max unit at the rear portion. The green and volt colors intertwine on the mesh upper. Hints of black are also present on the outrigger, the Nike Swoosh on the side, the heel counter, the tongue, and shoelaces. The sock lining is poison green with a printed Kobe logo on the instep. There are also unique diamond-shaped perforations throughout the shoe and snakeskin details at the back of the tongue, giving it a Mamba-esque appearance.

Kobe's signature in volt appears on the tongue and on the outsole against the large "X" design. The outsole is also translucent poison green, revealing a white diamond rubber pattern underneath.
