Tropical storm Rafael is pouring rain over the eastern region of the Caribbean.
Moving northward at about 22 km/h, Rafael's sustained winds were measured at 50 km/h while located 105 miles away from St. Croix by 2 a.m. EDT Sunday.
According to the US National Hurricane Center, Rafael can reach hurricane status by Monday evening.
Some of the areas affected include the island of Trinidad and the storm is now heading itself towards the U.S. Virgin Islands, Anguilla, Barbuda, St. Kitts, Nevis, and more.
