Bruce Jenner's sister, Pam Mettler, spoke up about his transitioning stage and said she supports him, Daily Mail reported.
Mettler sat in an inexclusive interview with Daily Mail and told them that Bruce was her "best friend" and that she supports his decision. When asked about Bruce's transition, she said, "This is Bruce's story and he will talk about it when he is ready."
She added that Bruce makes it a point to visit her home on a regular basis. "Oh my god yes, Bruce and I talk all the time. We are all very close. Bruce often comes to visit me here, we are best friends. We fully support him," said Pam.
Then, she was asked about her brother's car accident in Malibu earlier this month.
"I am very much in contact with Bruce and his people over this. We will see what happens with the crash, people are saying a lot of different things. I have no idea what actually happened," said Pam.
Bruce was in his Cadillac Escalade last February 7 when he steered away from other cars. It was reported that the car was slowing down to stop for the traffic light on Pacific Coast Highway.
The crash ended with one person dead and seven others injured.
Authorities confirmed that the former athlete's car has pushed away two cars. Kim Howe, 69, was killed when the white Lexus she was driving was struck by a Hummer.
The CCTVs showed Jenner's car starting the series of other car crashes in the area.
Investigators at Los Angeles Sheriff's department are currently working towards a conclusion. It is possible that they may file criminal charges including vehicular manslaughter.
Meanwhile, Bruce's mother has also spoken out about the reality star's surgery and said that he is planning to complete this process this month.
Esther Jenner told Radar Online about this news and said: "I'm so proud of him!"
She admitted that she did not know Bruce felt this way but they "had a very long, long, long talk about it."
"Right now I am more proud of him for what he's allowing himself to do. I am more proud of him now than when he stood on that podium and put the gold medal around his neck. He deserves all the respect," added Esther.
She also explained why Bruce only revealed his desire just now. She said that Bruce is thinking he could help millions of people who are feeling the same. "If he can help other people with emotional problems," said Bruce's mother.
"I support him whole-heartedly. I just love him like I always have," Esther concluded.
