WWE star Seth Rollins and "The Daily Show" host Jon Stewart are in a heated argument.
Bleacher Report wrote that Jon Stewart previously announced that he will be leaving "The Daily Show" on Comedy Central later in 2015. Rollins, on the other hand, was quick to say on WWE Raw on February 16 that he is willing to replace the comedian and take the show to a better state.
Rolling Stone reported that Rollins said on Monday Night Raw, "Right now. I am the most talented performer in the entire world. I can do whatever I want, whenever I want. Hell, if I wanted, I could become president. Or I could take over as host of "The Daily Show" for Jon Stewart and make that thing actually watchable."
The news apparently got to Stewart and said that he is 160 pounds of dynamite and is not scared of the much bigger Rollins.
IGN reported that Stewart responded in a WWE-like fashion, unleashing a video on February 19 to challenge "Mr. Money in the Bank".
In the 1:20 video, Stewart filmed himself saying, "Seth Rollins, you made a lot of mistakes in your life. Being a turncoat for your brothers on The Shield, being a toadie for The Authority, not being able to choose which color your hair should be. But this is the biggest mistake you've ever made... by coming after "The Daily Show". You just stepped in a world to hurt my friend. A world of hurt that even your buddies at J&J Security are not gonna be able to save you from. I'm coming for you Rollins! And you're gonna see it. 160 pounds of dynamite. I wasn't gonna say dynamite... bone density is not what it used to be... 160 pounds of wood... like a soft wood... like a pine, like a pine, like a balsa. Still splinters, you know. That's gonna hurt! Well, my point is, you messed with the wrong guy. And I'm coming... and that's money in the bank my friend. We out!"
In the same report by Rolling Stone, Seth Rollins was quick to respond to Stewart's challenge. The wrestler tweeted a link of Stewart's video, then added, "You know where to find me Mr. Stewart. @WWEJJSecurity will even hold up the middle rope for you."
WWE fans may expect something extraordinary to come out of this debacle, such as a Jon Stewart appearance at Fast Lane or WrestleMania 31.
