WWE Fast Lane 2015: Triple H Talks Sting, The Rock

Michael Cole sat down with Triple H for an interview to talk about his plans for the WWE Fast Lane debut on February 22.

WrestleZone reported that Cole asked Triple H if The Authority is aiming to trap and manipulate Roman Reigns. Triple H replied that everything in life is a manipulation. He said he set the match for Fast Lane because he believed that the fans did not have a fair winner at the 2015 Royal Rumble, because The Rock interrupted. He said he wanted to give the fans a fair WrestleMania challenger.

When Cole mentioned how Seth Rollins and Reigns also had interferences, Triple H replied that Rollins and Reigns are WWE Superstars, while The Rock and Sting are not. He added that he has no problem if a WWE Superstar interrupts the organization's plans but it is not good for business if outsiders interfere. For Triple H, Reigns' win was tainted.

In the video presented by WrestlingInc, Cole and Triple H also talked about the latter's interview with Steve Austin. According to Triple H, he heard that he had 40 percent more viewers compared to the interview with Vince McMahon. He complimented Austin for finding a job that he is really good at.

Cole also talked about how Triple H may have been letting his emotions get in the way of his actions in the past few months. The Cerebral Assassin replied that he is only doing what is best for the business. When Cole asked if he has become emotional about Sting's actions, Triple H answered that he has not threatened Sting with physicality. He only challenged him to talk so they can resolve their problems. He added that he is still not certain whether Sting will appear at Fast Lane but promised that he will put an end to their problem if he does.

According to Triple H, if he does not show up, Sting is the coward that he always thought he was. Triple H challenged Sting that he can either be a man or a coward.

In another WrestleZone report, during Monday Night Raw on February 2, 2015, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H said that they were not sure whether Reigns truly deserved to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 31. Reigns interrupted them immediately and went straight to the ring, asking Triple H if he is really going to try and take away his title shot.

Shortly afterwards, Seth Rollins and Daniel Bryans also make an appearance. Triple H announced that they will have a match between Bryan and Rollins, and the winner will battle Reigns at Fast Lane. Whoever wins that match will face Lesnar for the heavyweight championship belt. Triple H said that Reigns needed to prove himself after his doubtful victory at the Royal Rumble.
