Fans are wondering what Kanye West has up his sleeve for his upcoming eighth studio album, but if the recent singles that have been released are any indication, there is a lot to look forward to from the artist, KDrama Stars reported.

West's last studio was 2013's "Yeezy," which topped the charts and yielded two singles "Black Skinhead" and "Bound 2." With other artists also set to make comebacks this year, West is not far behind as he started amping up anticipating for his new album.

Just last week, a new track was released titled "FourFiveSeconds" in which West collaborated with Rihanna and Sir Paul McCartney, according to Rolling Stone.

The soft, acoustic track features the West and Rihanna being more mellow and gentler as they are accompanied by McCartney on the keyboard.

Fans were able to hear a softer side to West while still spouting out his brand of lyrics. "Woke up an optimist / Sun was shining, I'm positive / Then I heard you was talking trash / Hold me back, I'm bout to spaz," he sang.

Reps for both West and Rihanna have confirmed to Rolling Stone that the track will appear on their respective albums. It also confirms the rumors that have been appearing since last year that McCartney produced songs for West, though reps for both artists clarified that McCartney did not co-produce West's entire album.

As for the title of the much-anticipated album, fans were surprised when the news came from none other than talk show host and comedienne Ellen DeGeneres, who let slip the title on her website, according to Billboard.

"I'm so excited. Monday is my birthday! I'm going to be celebrating all week long," the post read. "I'm celebrating with some really wonderful people, too. Kanye West will be here for an exclusive interview! He has a new CD coming out called 'Only One.' I hope I can keep it."

A representative from Kanye's camp was quick to tell Billboard that DeGeneres was mistaken though, and that the tile was "incorrect."

In fact, "Only One" is actually the name of the lead single off of West's upcoming album, which was originally released during the last week of December, according to Slate.

It was co-written with McCartney and was one of West's most personal songs, an ode written in honor of his late mother Donda West, who died due to complications from surgery back in 2007. In the track, West addressed himself, as well as his daughter North West, through his mother's words which he said came to him subconsciously.

"Only One" is also the Swahili to English translation of West's first name, which he chose as the title as a way to channel her spirit.

West and his record label have yet to reveal a release date. However, with the teasers and songs consistently being released, fans are already plenty happy to get new music from West.
