A new video of "Bad Lip Reading" was released on January 22, featuring NFL stars Cam Newton and Tony Romo among others.
USA Today reported that a lot of NFL fans were delighted to discover the new video, saying that it was funnier than last year's version and that Romo was particularly more hilarious than ever.
The video shown on USA Today first featured a couple of players from the Baltimore Ravens. One said laughing, "I saw your mole!" The other responded, "You're giving me a complex, man!"
The second scene featured another player saying, "You gotta eat breakfast! We eat breakfast! Then lunch!"
Yahoo Sports reported that the Cam Newton scene was definitely one of the best parts of the video.
He was asked by a sports reporter, "Why are you, you know, always angry?"
Newton's face appeared deep in contemplation as he answered, "Once there was this prince, he came from, like, Syria, okay. And he lived with some peaceful monkey's outside his aunt's boyfriend's cabin and had an old sheepdog named Paco Sinbad."
Newton had a few more scenes. In another one, he said, "Give me a tiny boat and I'll sing all day!"
After many more hilarious bad lip reading, Eric Winston was featured saying, "I wasn't loved as a baby."
Other good quips from the recent video included:
Justin Forsett was shown saying, "I just forgot... to breathe."
"So, wait, you're saying if you don't like her then you'll buy a girl a second-hand handbag?" Matt Hasselback of the Indianapolis Colts said.
"I think my face is happier fuzzy," said Matthew Stafford of the Detroit Lions.
J.J. Watt of the Houston Texans said, "You know, I like Horace, the little mystery pig. He's got round poops!"
Tony Romo of the Dallas Cowboys was also presented, saying, "Hey wait, uh, not ready! I'm gonna die!" More shots of him talking gibberish followed. At one point, the quarterback was flicking his tongue then said, "Buffaloneeey!"
Another Cowboy, Dez Bryant, was also talking about "funions". Cowboys coach Jason Garrett did not escape the sights of the bad lip readers. He was caught saying, "I'm not okay. I'm gonna crack! He proceeded to push off Kyle Wilber.
For the finale, quarterback Tom Brady of the New England Patriots spoke, "You should see we caught a mouse, and then we kept it. We could have cooked him but no, we can't crush it. So we got him a mouse cage."
