Visceral Games, developer of the upcoming game "Battlefield: Hardline", announced that Xbox One users will get to play the game four days earlier than players using other gaming consoles.

Steve Papoutsis told fans in a Christian Post report, "To be frank, we want you to play this beta to death. We need you to. This test is only going to make the game stronger, and help us take a look at ways we can ensure we deliver the most stable launch you deserve."

Winbeta reported that Xbox One users will particularly have early access to "Battlefield: Hardline" through the Electronic Arts Access Hub app. Based on a new tweet by the game developer's official Twitter account, Xbox One gamers will get the game four days in advance. Through EA Access, Xbox One users can play "Battlefield: Hardline" first. The preview play will be limited to six hours a day. EA Access is a subscription service that allows users early access to a number of EA games in The Vault. The Vault features a list of the most popular games by EA on the Xbox One. The list also changes regularly.

Visceral Games also announced that it will unroll the beta version in all platforms soon. In the beta version, players can continue their progression to the full version of "Battlefield: Hardline" when it officially launches on March 17, 2015.

According to the game developer, the beta version will be available in all platforms, namely the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC. Christian Post also reported that Visceral Games will release the beta mode early to ensure that players only get the best quality and experience.

In the beta version, gamers can battle criminals, explore a variety of devices, form alliances and avoid cops in the beta Hotwire mode. There will be two opposing teams in the Hotwire mode. The second game mode is called "Conquest", where players will try to win over checkpoints. There will also be maps in beta too, particularly "Dust" and "Downtown". Polygon also wrote that "Battlefield 4" has a current promotion where the community is encouraged to gather 2 billion points in Rush mode to unlock the Heist mode in "Battlefield: Hardline" beta. The promo will run until January 25, 2015.

"Battlefield: Hardline" sets itself apart from the previous installments by taking on a cops-and-robbers theme. The previous versions were military shooters. Still, the new game feature heavy weapons and vehicles.
