There is limited news on what's going on so far with "Rambo 5" after it suffered delays one after the other, but fans need not fear since it seems like production for the film is still ongoing, Nola reported.

The "Rambo" franchise is based on the novel written by David Morrell and so far has four films under its belt with "First Blood" released in 1982, "Rambo: First Blood Part II" in 1985, "Rambo III" in 1988, and "Rambo" in 2008. As a whole, the franchise has garnered more than $727 million worldwide.

It's fifth, and said to be the final installment, was initially scheduled to come out sometime this year. However, the initial schedule for shooting, which was supposed to be during fall of 2014 in Shreveport, Louisiana, was delayed and the filming date was pushed back to this year.

It's not known as of yet when exactly this year the filming is going to happen, and there isn't much news on a release date or cast members. However, fans can at least rest easy knowing Sylvester Stallone is still gearing up to play Rambo.

The actor sent out a tweet on Dec. 29, saying, "Doing Scarpa based on Gangster Greg Scarpa after LAST BLOOD RAMBO..."

Not only did it confirm the film's continued development, and Stallone's involvement, but also the official title of the final film, "Last Blood."

While fans await more news, they can at least be sure that Stallone will be in fighting form when he returns as Rambo.

The actor was spotted by tourists on Saturday at the Philadelphia Museum of Art along the famous Rocky steps. The steps were made famous after Stallone used them to train during his run as boxer Rocky Balboa, according to E! News.

Peter Rowe, who was with his friends, was able to talk to Stallone and take a selfie with him. He shared, "He said to us, 'Man, you guys are fast. You're making me look bad!'" and added that Stallone even told them to "look tough" when posing for the selfie.

Stallone is in Philly for the shooting of the Rocky spinoff, boxing film "Creed," alongside director Ryan Coogler and actor Michael B. Jordan, who will play Adonis Creed, the grandson of Rocky's rival, Apollo Creed.

After "Creed," Stallone will be portraying Gregory Scarpa, known as "The Grim Reaper" and "The Mad Hatter," in a gangster biopic alongside director Brad Furman before getting to work on "Rambo 5: Last Blood."
