Rumors have it that Bruce Jenner is going ahead with his decision to completely become a woman and have a sex change operation, something his sons are said to be supportive of, International Business Times reported.
Jenner only recently had to brush off the magazine scandal where InTouch Weekly featured a photoshopped cover of him as a woman and claimed that he was coming out this year, complete with gender reassignment surgery.
Now he has another rumor to wade through as he is once again faced with allegations of a sex change operation and rumored plans to finally come out as a transgender. Through the trying times though, Jenner has his sons and their support behind him.
An insider spoke to Radar Online and said that Brandon and Brody Jenner are aware of their father's struggles with his gender identity, but they were at least hopeful that the media would be kind to him.
"The magazine cover didn't come as a surprise to the brothers, but they both feel it's very insensitive to the LGBT community," the insider said.
The insider also said that the brothers are both strong supporters of the LGBT community and that "they're standing by their dad through this."
"Brandon and Brody would continue to support their Dad," the insider stated. "If he does indeed make the transition to being a woman, their feelings for him won't change."
Jenner's ex-wife, Kris Jenner, also stood behind him, feeling "outraged" on his behalf, according to TMZ. A source said that she told all her friend it was a "mean" thing to do whether or not it was true.
Jenner's daughter, Kylie, was also said to be angry and upset over the cover, according to Hollywood Life. A source claimed that, "Kylie called him crying, asking if he was all right."
"She was in tears the whole time because she doesn't like when her father's being attacked," the source added. "She was really pissed and felt the magazine was very mean and nasty."
Both the Jenner and Kardashian families have also closed off access to InTouch, according to New York Daily News.
"Kris has cut off contact with In Touch, Life & Style and all Bauer publications," a source close to the reality stars revealed. "They won't get any 'real' quotes from the family, and will be banned for Kardashian-Jenner red carpets, events, premieres and fashion events."
An insider stated that the publishers from In Touch didn't care though, saying, "In Touch doesn't care if the Kardashians don't speak to them. They felt betrayed anyway, that the family used them to get famous, then dumped them."
The insider also added that it was unlikely that the publication will stop writing about the famous family anyway.
