Fans of "Macho Man" Randy Savage finally get to celebrate because he will soon be inducted to the 2015 WWE Hall of Fame class.

TMZ reported that the big announcement is expected on Monday Night Raw on January 12.

Many fans for years have wondered why it took so long for the WWE to induct the famous superstar in the Hall of Fame. Even Stone Cold Steve Austin confronted WWE Chairman Vince McMahon in December 2014 on the WWE Network to discuss Macho Man's fate as officially becoming one of the industry's greatest legends. McMahon reportedly agreed and will arrange the official induction ceremony the day before WrestleMania 31 in Santa Clara, California.

McMahon answered Austin's question regarding Savage's induction. He said in a Denver Post article, "Oh absolutely. Definitely. I'd say soon. I'm not so sure if it's this year but soon."

In an exclusive interview by Interactive Wrestling Radio, Randy's brother, Lanny Poffo explained that their family previously intended for Macho Man, himself and their father to be inducted into the Hall of Fame at the same time.

Poffo said, "Ok, I am bending and let me explain why. The day I turned 59, it finally hit me I'm the older brother. There were a lot of times in my life, being the Macho Man's brother and Angelo's son, I didn't get my way. As the last man standing, I am now. So, I told my mother I'm willing to allow the WWE to put 'Macho Man' Randy Savage in the Hall of Fame by himself. I'm not going to have a blinking contest with Vince McMahon. He's got balls of steel and he's willing to cut off his nose to spite his face. I'm just not man enough to do that, fellas. I can stand up to a lot of people but not him. He's got more guts and brains than anyone I've ever met. Even Randy would have told you that. What is the Hall of Fame anyway? It isn't for the Macho Man, it is for the Macho fan and they are the ones that made him great. I'm sorry, Randy. I hope that you're not mad at me. Maybe we'll find out later."

Bleacher Report wrote that Randy Savage was one of the greatest wrestlers that the sport of entertainment wrestling has ever witnessed. He had the body and agility, the lively personality, and charisma that made him one of WWE's favorites long after he stopped battling in the ring. His career spanned over three decades in the WWF, WCW and TNA. He was WWE champion two times, WCW world heavyweight champion four times and a King of the Ring winner in 1987.
