More and more rumors about the much-awaited movie, "Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice", continue to arise. One of the many speculations that has caught our eye recently is the report that the movie will actually be split into parts.
The information came from a leaked screenshot image uploaded on the image sharer app Imgur. View the image here.
The text on the image shows that the movie will have two parts. The first part, titled "Enter the Knight," will allegedly hit theaters on October 23, 2015. The second part, called "Dawn of Justice" on the other hand, will be shown in theaters on March 25, 2016.
It is still unknown whether the leaked image is true or fake. Warner Bros. has not yet issued a comment or statement regarding the matter.
The image was accompanied by a short caption which said, "I have an iPhone video of the teaser trailer (it has updated since, but close with most things), and no, I will never distribute it, but I will offer this screen shot."
Note that it was reported last December that the trailer of the movie was leaked online. Although the video, allegedly uploaded on 4chan, can no longer be found on the Internet, Movie Pilot gave a glimpse of what was allegedly seen in the leaked trailer. It said that the video starts with a scene from the "Man of Steel" wherein it showed the destruction that took place in the metropolis. It noted that it was Batman or Bruce Wayne, played by Ben Affleck, who narrates in the video. Batman airs his doubts on the intentions of Superman, played by Henry Cavill. He then promises to find out if Superman is there to save or destroy people.
A report from Cinema Blend citing the table provided by The Projection List, however, stated that the first video footage from the much-awaited movie is set to be unveiled at the Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis starrer "Jupiter Ascending" screening this February 6. It added that a teaser trailer for the film is also expected to be screened in other films like "In the Heart of the Sea," "Furious 7," "Avengers: Age of Ultron," and "Mad Max: Fury Road." Movie Pilot, on the other hand, believes the trailer will be out this March.
Aside from Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill, the movie cast list also includes Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Gal Gadot, Holly Hunter, Jason Momoa, Jeremy Irons, Jesse Eisenberg, Laurence Fishburne, and Ray Fisher. The movie written by Chris Terrio and David S. Goyer will reportedly hit theaters on March 25, 2016.
