It seems like Manny Pacquiao is not the only boxer claiming to be dodged from by Floyd Mayweather.

Boxing News 24 reported that British champion Amir Khan resorted to Twitter to vent out his frustrations over Mayweather's continued ignorance of his wish to fight him.

In another report by Boxing News 24, Mayweather said about Khan in December 2014, "The other night I think he did 4,000. So, Amir Khan, his name holds no weight. No one knows who Amir Khan is, but those involved in boxing. My focus in Manny Pacquiao. Let's make it happen."

Khan posted on his Twitter account on January 7: "Who wants to see Khan vs. Pacquiao because I know Mayweather's running." The boxer has over 1.4 million followers on the micro-blogging platform.

After his victory over Devon Alexander in December 2014, Khan wanted to face Mayweather next but the undefeated American dismissed his challenge, saying that he is just another unknown fighter looking for a big payday. According to Mayweather, Khan's name is not big enough to rake in huge pay-per-view buys.

Boxing Scene reported that after Khan moved up to welterweight in 2013, then started a daily verbal campaign, challenging Mayweather to a May 2, 2015 fight. He even signed a contract with Al Haymond, Mayweather's adviser.

Khan's next move of trying to land a fight against Pacquiao might be a sign that he is moving on from Mayweather, after two years of trying to get a big fight against him. Khan and Pacquiao used to be training partners under coach Freddie Roach. He left the team and worked with trainer Virgil Hunter in 2012. Boxing Scene added that Khan might be left with no big opponent as the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight negotiations progress.

Boxing News 24 in the same report posted that Khan will most likely get disappointed in pursuing Pacquiao too. Mayweather's comments against the Brit somehow hold true that Khan does not have a fan base in the United States big enough to make him a worthy opponent against Pacquiao. Khan would have a bigger chance to be helped by Bob Arum if he were also under Top Rank promotions like Pacquiao. Arum will not also risk an upset win by Khan, which can lead to uninteresting sequels.

Boxing News 24 also wrote that Khan may not have the strength to last 12 rounds in the ring against Pacquiao. It is improbable that he will win over the Filipino, considering his previous fighting style and techniques.
