‘GTA 5' Heists DLC Release Date Tipped? Rolling Out Along With PC Game [Rumors]

"Grand Theft Auto" fans are getting more excited for the launch of "GTA 5: Heists".

There are talks that the upcoming downloadable content will most likely be available on the same date that the PC version of "Grand Theft Auto 5" releases. Previously, Rockstar Games announced via its newswire that the Heists DLC for "GTA V Online" will release early in 2015, without providing the exact date. A recent report hinted that the update will be ready by the end of January.

Techspouse revealed that "GTA 5 Heists" will be released on January 27, 2015, the same date that the DLC also becomes available to all gaming consoles, including the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. The update is reportedly already in its final developmental stages.

Techspouse also wrote that one of the voice talents of "GTA V", believed to be Shawn Fonteno, shared that Rockstar Games is currently developing the expansion pack and that the update will be available soon. Fans should not feel disappointed about the delay of "Heists", which was originally slated to launch by the end of 2014.

International Business Times reported that a "GTA V" tipster, Shady Lapse, shared on the Se7ensins forums that there were leaked details about the upcoming DLC that came from the 1.20 source code of the game. The game codes for the online update were leaked, showing a variety of new vehicles, weapons and armours. These are all said to appear in the update.

Rockstar Games confirmed that four players are necessary to form a team and complete every heist mission. Previous revelations were featured via a trailer showing "Heists" in Blaine County and Los Santos. The mission will require coordination and constant communication among players to accomplish objectives, since each player will have a specific role as the mission progresses.
