Another colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High is set to release two days after Christmas.

Sneaker News reported that on Saturday, December 27, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG "Fragment Design" will be available at a retail price of $165.

The Jordan 1 "Fragment Design" features a white, sport royal and black colorway. Based on the same Sneaker News report, the shoe will be the first of many that will feature the "Remastered" design. Being "remastered" means that extra attention will be given to detail and the materials used during factory processing to provide clients with a good quality product.

Legendary streetwear designer Hiroshi Fujiwara and the fragment design have long used the approach in manufacturing, focusing on top-notch quality and each element of the shoe. GQ reported that the new colorway was inspired by Fujiwara, who tweaked the classic sneaker to make it his own. The original design and classic theme of the shoe have been kept to feature a retro result. The Air Jordan 1 Retro High "Fragment Design" is basically a new take on the "Black Toe" edition.

Based on an article by Sole Collector, the Jordan 1 "Fragment Design" features a blue sole with the same classic pattern, a white midsole with white stitching and a combination of blue, black and white tones on the leather upper. The toe area, shoelace loops and side Swoosh are black, the sides of the upper and perforated toe area are white and the heel and collar are blue. The tongue, shoelaces and insoles are black. The original "Nike Air" branding is also present on the tongue tag and insoles while a black engraved fragment design logo can be seen on the heels. The Air Jordan "Wings" logo is still located on the collar in black.

Hypebeast.com reported that the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG "Fragment Design" is a limited edition and was initially available exclusively at the POOL aoyama, owned by Fujiwara himself. The shoe was first released on the weekend before Christmas but more will be available on Nike.com and NikeLab locations in limited pairs beginning December 27, the report added.

GQ also reported that NikeLab in Soho provided raffle tickets for people to get a chance to purchase a pair. A number of sneaker boutiques around the United States will also be selling the shoes, although purchasing online may be more convenient for those who wish to land the limited release pair.
