When World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria officially launches Tuesday, September 24, fans will be free to roam an entirely new continent populated with a number of fresh zones, scenarios, battlegrounds, dungeons, and raids.
For seasoned players who have grown fatigued of World of Warcraft's offerings, Mists introduces a Challenge mode, pet battles, new daily quests, a new Monk class, player dungeon quests, and a new level cap of 90 to Blizzard's mammoth MMO.
In an interview with ComputersandVideoGames, Blizzard senior software engineer Darren Williams stated that the team has "gone back to giving players a single continent to explore, so there's a ton of locations to uncover and new lore to discover. It's a more focused experience overall than Cataclysm; the last expansion pack had all these new features, but it was change to the old world of Azeroth."

Zones: Wandering Isle, The Jade Forest, Krasarang Wilds, Valley of the Four Winds, Townlong Steppes, Dread Wastes, Kun-Lai Summit, Vale of Eternal Blossoms
Scenarios: Greenstone Village, Unga Ingoo, A Brewing Storm, Theramore, Brewmoon Festival, Crypt of Forgotten Kings, Arena of Annihilation
Dungeons: Scarlet Monastery, Temple of the Jade Serpent, Mogu'Shan Palace, Scholomance, Gate of the Setting Sun, Scarlet Halls, Stormstout Brewery, Siege of Niuzao Temple, Shado-Pan Monastery
Raids: Mogu'Shan Vaults, Terrace of Endless Spring, Heart of Fear
Battlegrounds: Temple of Kotmogu, Silvershard Mines, Tol'Viron Arena
Those who opt for the Collector's edition of the game will be treated to a behind the scenes Blu-Ray of the game's development, a soundtrack CD, a 208-page hardcover book of concept artwork, an Imperial Quilen flying mount and cub pet, and a mouse pad. Players will also be awarded a Pandaria Banner Sigil and Accent for Diablo III and two exclusive portraits for Starcraft II.
The Collector's Edition sells for $79.99 and the standard version for $39.99.
