Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez will be free to sign with a club of his choice during the winter transfer window.

Air Herald reported that Hernandez will be leaving Real Madrid after he was placed on loan from Manchester United. Real did not give him an offer so the striker will be available to ink other deals with any team. He can join the club he signs with immediately in the summer according to their agreed terms. However, if he fails to enter into a deal with any club, he can land as a free agent.

According to the Spanish press, Carlo Ancelotti will not sign Hernandez because the latter previously stated that he wanted to play as a starter. However, Ancelotti can only provide him with a substitute position. Hernandez is a good player deserving to play first team football. However, Real Madrid is full of excellent players which would only put him in second-tier.

HereIsTheCity.com previously reported that Hernandez's current situation was not what he initially had in mind. A Spanish publication reported, "The striker was convinced that his adventure at Real Madrid would be a success, but the lack of minutes begins to take a toll on morale level. It's not his style to complain, but he cannot say he is happy with his situation in the team."

Hernandez is only 26 years old and it will be smarter for him to look for a club that will appreciate his best years as a first team player. A number of teams have shown interest in acquiring Chicharito. The list includes Arsenal, Liverpool, Premiership, Everton and Tottenham.

Chicharito is a former Mexican national player who first played for Manchester United in 2010. However, he had difficulty staying in the first team. He was put on loan by Manchester United to Real Madrid for the 2014 season, which seems to suit him better, although he was not yet given as much opportunity to play.

Sports Mole reported that Ancelotti insisted that Hernandez will be given the chance to show off his skills at the Club World Cup. Ancelotti said that the striker is still hard at work and will have his chance in Morocco as Real Madrid face Cruz Azul in the semi-finals on December 16, 2014. Ancelotti said, "He is as he always is, working hard as always. I'm sure he'll have a part to play in this competition. I do not know how many minutes he will get but he can help the team in this tournament."
