With the season four premiere of 'NCIS: Los Angeles' is just days away, fans are dying to know what's in store for their favorite characters. Show writer Shane Brennan and a couple of cast members have shared some spicy tidbits about the upcoming season.
According to E! Online, 'NCIS: Los Angeles' fans can expect Eric (Barrett Foa) and Nell's (Renee Felice Smith) relationship to heat up this season. The actress told E! Online, "There is some potential making out." However, fellow costar, Foa, warns that it won't happen quickly. "We work together, so you can't just be hot and heavy off the bat," he told E! "It's going to take at least nine seasons for a peck on the cheek."
Fans will also get to see some fun "Densi" material this season, Brennan told TV Line. According to Brennan, episode 2 of the new season will be "the funniest episode we ever made." The showrunner added, "The Kensi-Deeks [played by Daniela Ruah and Eric Christian Olsen] fans are going to love it. It has a lot of fun in it. [At the table read] everyone was rolling around on the floor laughing." He also noted, "You can write the material, but unless there's chemistry...it can just lay there very flat. But we have a cast that's very good with humor."
Other entertaining moments for the upcoming season include the real-life moms of four cast member, who will appear on the season's third episode, TV Line reported. Brennan was introduced to Chris O'Donnell, LL Cool J, Daniela Ruah and Eric Christian Olsen's mothers and ended up writing a scene where the four ladies will play a group of girlfriends gabling at a casino.
O'Donnell told TV Line, "I thought it was a practical joke-that maybe it was April Fools or something. Not in a million years. Not in a million years. But it's going down, and I'm horrified!" The actor added that his mother is "very excited, to say the least" and that "I'm sure she has not stopped talking about it back in Michigan."
TV Line also reported that there will also be other guest stars featured this season, including Rachel Ticotin, who will play Monica Tenez, a politician "everyone would love to vote for this year." Ticon will be joined by Abbie Cobb, who will star as Astrid, a young woman who will have a relationship with Agent Kensi Blye. TV Line reported that the role may potentially lead to a recurring role in season four for the actress.
'NCIS: Los Angeles' returns for season 4 on September 25 at 9 p.m. on CBS.
