Drizzy Drake has reportedly been injured following a brawl with Sean 'Diddy' Combs outside of the LIV club at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami on Sunday night, reports the Daily Mail.
It was not actually clear what caused the fight but the New York Daily News hinted of only two plausible reasons - Drake used Diddy's music without proper rights or Drake disrespected Cassie Ventura, Diddy's girlfriend, with snide comments.
But Page Six was more certain with its report when it said that the two rappers fought over rights to a music based on an eyewitness account.
"Drake and Diddy got into it outside the club. They were arguing over the rights to a song, and got into a physical fight. Diddy claimed that Drake was using music without the proper rights," the eyewitness told Page Six.
From various reports of the incident, it seems clear that the 45-year-old Diddy beat the living daylights out of the 28-year-old Drake during the scuffle.
NY Daily News even reported that Diddy smacked Drake three times that had the "Worst Behavior" singer seeing stars near Miami Beach and injured.
"Drake definitely got the s-t kicked out of him. I heard they were taking him to the hospital," says Ray LeMoine, editor of Bullet magazine, who got wind of the information from text messages of friends who were at the LIV at the time of the brawl.
Some witnesses say the face off came after an already drunk Drake made an offensive comment to Cassie Ventura, the 28-year-old girlfriend of Diddy, cites NY Daily News.
"Diddy had his security walk over to Drake's table and let them know that he wanted to talk to him (Drake) outside at 4 am. Both entertainers marched outside with their entourages in tow. Within 20 minutes, the fight was over and Diddy was back inside the nightclub chilling in a VIP booth," details the report from a club insider account.
The two rappers were among the many musicians that were at the club to celebrate DJ Khaled's birthday that started from late Sunday all the way to the wee hours of Monday morning, reports the Daily Mail.
The Page Six report did not say that Drake got smacked a number of times but said that the rapper went to the hospital due to an injured shoulder.
"Diddy left LIV on his own and made a beeline towards the car, like he was a man on a mission. Drake got out of his SUV, and there was a scuffle. It seemed that Drake had hurt himself, he was holding his shoulder like it was dislocated. He was in obvious pain," narrates the Page Six source.
Some were speculating that the rift between the two may have begun as early as February when Drake dissed Diddy during the NBA All-Star weekend. Watch:
