Excitement to the "Terminator 5: Genisys," the fifth installment to the very successful futuristic action film franchise, has heightened last week when a photo of Arnold Schwarzenegger as T-800 was leaked featuring an older and bruised cyborg.
Subsequently, Entertainment Weekly published the official stills of the fifth Terminator movie in its cover story featuring Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor, Jason Clarke as John Connor, and and Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese.
Since then, fans have been on alert on the next set of photos or videos or whatever kind of leak they can get from behind the scenes of the widely anticipated movie.
"Terminator 5: Genisys" is due to hit theaters on July 1, 2015.
Fans need not wait any further as a behind-the-scene footage was created and released featuring some of the photos of the actual filming of the movie, reports KpopStarz.
The movie's synopsis or plot has practically been revealed in the Entertainment Weekly cover story including some key spoilers.
"The beginning of Terminator: Genisys, the first of three planned films that Paramount hopes will relaunch the beloved sci-fi franchise, is set in 2029, when the Future War is raging and a group of human rebels has the evil artificial-intelligence system Skynet on the ropes. John Connor is the leader of the resistance and Kyle Reese is his loyal soldier. The two of them raised the ruins of post apocalyptic California. As in the (first Terminator) film, Connor sends Reese back to 1984 to save Connor's mother, Sarah, from a Terminator programmed to kill her so that she won't ever give birth to John. But what Reese finds on (his travel back in time) is nothing like he expected," details Entertainment Weekly.
KpopStarz also got wind of a report that Arnold Schwarzenegger also disclosed some details about the film. The original Terminator said that there are two T-800 robots in the fifth movie sequel. The first is a younger one which will be controlled by Skynet and the other is an older version (that would be him obviously) which will be reprogrammed and will appear in the latter part of the movie.
Famous fitness trainer turned actor Aaron V. Williamson will be playing the younger T-800 and the physical buff was very proud of it by posting it initially on his social media account before eventually deleting it, adds the report.
"Thanks to an amazing team of people who help me get better each week, both physically and creatively, I'll be playing a T-800 in "Terminator 5: Genisys". I'm extremely grateful and motivated as this new chapter begins to take shape," Williamson said in his post.
