The 88-second movie teaser was also shown in at least 30 theaters in North America on that same day, according to its official website. The teaser was shown in select theaters of Harkins, AMC, Regal, Cinemark, Cineplex, Alamo, Marcus, Indep, Muvico, and Carmike in Arizona, California, Canada, Colorado, Washington, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Miami, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Wisconsin.

Actors and actresses Andy Serkis, Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, Mark Hamill, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong'o, Adam Driver, Warwick Davis, Peter Mayhew, Max von Sydow, Anthony Daniels, Kenny Baker, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Christina Chong, Pip Andersen, Crystal Clarke, and Dixie Arnold will star in the new "Star Wars" film.

It said that Mark Hamill will again play the role of protagonist Luke Skywalker while Harrison Ford stays as Han Solo. Carrie Fisher, meanwhile, will still be Solo's wife, Princess Leia Organa of Alderaan.

The movie is directed by J.J. Abrams who is known for movies "Lost," "Super 8," "Mission Impossible III," and "Armageddon." He is also included in the writing credits for the new "Star Wars" movie together with Lawrence Kasdan and George Lucas. Movies producers are J.J. Abrams, Bryan Burk, Tommy Gormley, Tommy Harper, Lawrence Kasdan, Kathleen Kennedy, Jason D. McGatlin, Michelle Rejwan, Ben Rosenblatt, and John Swartz.

According to Variety, the film was shot in Pinewood Studios, Iver Heath, Buckinghamshire, England, in United Kingdom. Screen Rant also reported that the filming took place in UK.  It noted that almost all of the previous movie installments were shot in UK. The five were shot in London's Elstree Studios while the first one "Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace" was shot at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden.

In the teaser, it was revealed that Han Solo's spacecraft Millennium Falcon returns. Also, Time revealed that the voiceover in the video may actually be "Sherlock" star Benedict Cumberbatch. Not all of these have already been confirmed so we just have to wait a little longer to feel this awakening.

The movie will hit theaters in December 2015.
