Black Friday officially began for places like Walmart, Toys R Us and Best Buy on November 27. Other shops like GameStop starts a day after but will end later. Black Friday brings great console prices for gaming enthusiasts together with titles and accessories.
In a report by Xbox.com, Xbox One will be available for $329.99. The gaming console will be bundled with "Assassin's Creed: Unity" but without the Kinect. Bundling "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" and adding the Kinect or a 1TB storage capacity will require $100 more. The package is available at Amazon, GameStop, Best Buy, Walmart, Kohl's, Hastings, Dell, Toys R Us and Fred Meyer.
ARSTechnica.com wrote that Target and Meijer are also offering a $50 gift card plus an "Assassin's Creed: Unity" bundle. Microsoft Stores offers a free game when people purchase the Xbox One at a reduced price. The title choices include "Titanfall", "Forza Motorsport 5," and "Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare". Walmart is also offering a $379.99 bundle which features "Halo: The Master Chief Collection", a free game of the buyer's choice, and a one-year subscription of Xbox Live Gold.
According to the International Business Times, PlayStation 4 gamers can purchase a bundle at Best Buy, GameStop or Target for only $399.99. The package includes "Grand Theft Auto V" and "The Last of Us Remastered." Walmart is also offering a $449 bundle online which includes two games of the buyer's choice. Those who purchase at their outlets can buy the Sony gaming console using a $50 gift card. Toys R Us has a PS4 bundle at $399, which includes "Little Big Planet 3" and "Lego Batman 3."
Gamers who like to collect figures can get their favorite characters from "Swap Force," "Giants," and "Skylanders" for only $9 at Walmart, based on the same report by ARSTechnica. "Skylanders" figures are also available at Toys R Us. People can get four characters for only $10. If people buy one "Trap Team" figure, they can get a second one with a 40 percent discount.
ARSTechnica also reported that a variety of game controllers will be available for Black Friday at low prices. The Xbox One controller will be available at Walmart, Best Buy and Hastings at $39.99. The PlayStation Move controller is available at GameStop at $9.99 (pre-owned). The DualShock 4 controller can be bought on eBay.com at $34.99. The PS4 wired one-ear headset can be availed of at GameStop at $9.99. Subscriptions are available for Xbox Live, which is good for 12 months, at $35.99.
