Tim Tebow News: Parents Setting Up Tim to Date Jana Duggar?

Jim Bob, patriarch of the Duggar family, who appears on the reality TV show "19 Kids & Counting", has Tim Tebow on his radar.

Radar Online reported that Jim Bob, father of Jana Duggar, wanted to match his eldest daughter with former Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow. Reportedly, Bob and his wife Michelle have already held secret meetings with Tebow's mom, Pat Tebow, in Arkansas.

The parents allegedly met at a Loving Choices Pregnancy Centers fundraiser in Springdale, Arkansas on November 11. The following day, Pat visited the Duggars at their Arkansas home, so it seems that the devout Christian families have a few things in common.

One source told Star, "Jim Bob is no dummy. Tim would be a perfect addition to the family and a feather in his cap. Can you imagine the press attention a Tim-Jana wedding would get?"

In a report by The Epoch Times, Jana is 24 years old and has a twin brother, John David. Although they are both the eldest children in the Duggar family, two younger siblings, Jill, 23 and Jessa, 22 married ahead of them. Reportedly, Jim Bob assesses all potential suitors for his daughters and he previously searched for the right guy for Jana, although none seemed to be a perfect fit so far. Currently, Jim and Michelle are visiting Tebow's mother in Arkansas with the objective of pairing their children together.

Although Bob seemed convinced that the admittedly virgin Tebow is the perfect match for his daughter, the final decision comes down to Jana herself. In a report by People Magazine, Jim Bob said, "I do not choose who my children marry....Over the years, I have suggested guys to my daughters or we have had a lot of guys that approach us and are interested in this girl or that girl, but each of our girls have chosen their spouse on their own."

In addition, the same Radar Online article also reported how the "19 Kids & Counting" stars are already getting excited about the possibility of a dream wedding. On November 11, 2014, Jim Bob shared a photo of himself and his wife together with Tim's mother.

The Duggars posted on Facebook about Pat Tebow, "A great lady and a great cause! We enjoyed hearing Pam Tebow share tonight."
