One Direction member Harry Styles finally broke his silence, denying rumors that he sent 1,989 roses to his former girlfriend Taylor Swift.
According to the report of Aceshowbiz, Harry Styles together with Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, and Louis Tomlinson went on a guest appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres show on Friday, November 21.
It was earlier reported that Taylor Swift received 1,989 roses from Harry Styles to congratulate her on the success of her newly released album "1989."
"So Harry, I need to find this out because this is a rumor. I don't know if you're going to answer me or not because you have so many rumors," Ellen DeGeneres asked Harry.
When the singer said he would answer the question, Ellen then said, "Here's the latest rumor, that you gave Taylor Swift 1,989 roses because of her '1989' album doing well. Do you know anything about that rumor?"
The 20-year singer then denied the rumor saying he did not know anything about the roses and that the sender definitely has to be somebody else.
"I know about the rumor, I don't know anything about the roses...I think it might have been someone else and I may have falsely gotten credit for it," he was quoted as saying by Entertainment Tonight Online.
Aside from the roses, it was also rumored that Harry who dated Taylor from October 2012 to January 2013 has been constantly texting her and "begging her for a rematch," The Daily Mail reported citing Australia's New Weekly Magazine. It also added that Taylor is also thinking about Harry and is also talking about how he matured.
Meanwhile, Hollywood Life reported that Taylor made eye contact with Harry during Sunday's American Music Awards. She also pointed "directly" at Harry when she sang her new song "Blank Space" during the event. Harry, on the other hand, looked at his band mates who were sitting beside him and just smirked, it revealed.
Hollywood Life also reported that there is no chance that the two will get back together.
"There's not a chance in hell that Harry will date Taylor again...He's a nice guy and wants to be friendly. He holds no grudges, but he doesn't want to be in a relationship with Taylor again. It didn't work out and wouldn't work out if they tried it again. He knows that it would be a disaster," an unnamed insider told the Hollywood Life.
Taylor has just released her new album "1989." One Direction's new album, on the other hand, is called "FOUR."
