As sneakerheads anticipate the potential release of the Air Jordan 11 "Legend Blue", the Jordan Brand is about to release the same colorway in its latest numbered model, the Air Jordan 29.
In a report by Kicks on Fire, the Air Jordan 29 "Legend Blue" is set to be released on December 1. The pair, which features the holiday colorway, is not the same one that will come in the "Ultimate Gift of Flight" Pack, which also features the Air Jordan 11 "Pantone".
Sneaker Report wrote that Oklahoma City Thunder star Russell Westbrook was the first to showcase the colorway, dubbed as Westbrook's Jordan XX9 PE.
Sneaker Bar Detroit reported that the sneakers will be available at select Jordan Brand retailers as well as Foot Locker at a retail price of $225. Eastbay.com, Footlocker.com and Nike.com will also be selling the shoes. The label on the box states "White/White-Legend Blue".
The upcoming model features the white color on several components, such as the all-white performance woven upper, the midsole, tongue, shoelaces, laceloops, inner lining and FlightPlate. The outsole features a translucent icy blue hue, which complements the large Legend Blue Jumpman on the side close to the heel and the number "23" on the tongue. The insoles feature a white and Legend Blue elephant print pattern. The basketball shoes have a very sleek and clean look giving reference to Michael Jordan's college days at the University of North Carolina.
In another report by Kicks on Fire, the Air Jordan 13 GS Black/Hyper Pink is also set to release for female Jordan collectors. The style features a black and white color palette with accents of Hyper Pink. Instead of the traditional quilted leather panel, there is a quilted rich black suede material, bordered by white tumbled leather, leading back to the heel. The toe, shoelaces, midsole and pods are white, while Hyper Pink is visible along the outsole as well as the tag on the tongue. The tongue is also made of rich black suede. A stitched white Jumpman logo is on the tongue. The inner lining and insole are black. There is a Hyper Pink Jumpman logo on the insole too. The hologram eye is present at the ankle.
The Air Jordan 13 GS Black/Hyper Pink will release on November 22 at a retail price of $130, based on a report by Nice Kicks. It will be available at Nike.com and Foot Locker.
