Nick Lachey and his wife Vanessa Lachey Minnillo are the latest celebrities to welcome a child.
The couple welcomed their first baby boy Camden John Lachey on Wednesday. They reported through "People", that the boy was born at 6:54 pm and that he weighed 8 pounds, 9 ounces and 21 inches.
In a statement to the press they stated "Love has truly been redefined for both of us."
The couple announced in March that they were expecting a child. During each trimester the couple was very active on Twitter informing their fan base on the pregnancy. In July, Vanessa Lachey announced they were expecting a boy.
The Lacheys wed in the summer of 2011. Last month, the 38-year-old singer Nick Lachey reunited with his band, 98 Degrees, on the "Today" show and in concert in Hershey, Pa. He recently competed on NBC's reality competition show "Stars Earn Stripes."
Singer, Vanessa Lachey, 31, is a co-host on ABC's "Wipeout."
