Disney is set to release a fifth "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie in 2017 following the success of its four film series.

The fifth movie will be titled "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales."

According to Coming Soon, the movie is set to be released on July 7, 2017 under Walt Disney Pictures. It will be directed by Norwegian directors Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg.

The movie is written by Stuart Beattie, Ted Elliott, Jeff Nathanson, Terry Rossio, and Jay Wolpert, according to IMDb. It will be produced by Jerry Bruckheimer.

As for the cast, the only actor confirmed to be in the movie is Johnny Depp who plays the role Captain Jack Sparrow.

Screenrant said that Geoffrey Rush, who played the role of Captain Hector Barbossa in the previous films, is also rumored to be back in the new movie but no confirmation has been made to date.

Meanwhile, Orlando Bloom is also expected to return in the fifth movie. He plays the role of blacksmith turned pirate Will Turner. At the Oz Comic Con last September, Bloom revealed that there were talks about it and commented that he is okay with going back to the film.

"There have certainly been some discussions about it and I'm open to it...That whole experience working with Johnny (Depp) and (director) Gore (Verbinski) was really amazing for me," Orlando was quoted by the Daily Mail as saying.

He also revealed he is a fan of Johhny Depp and it was a "gift" to work with him.

"I had a great time working with Johnny, one of the reasons I jumped at the opportunity (to be in the first Pirates) was because Johnny was involved," he said.

Other actors who are rumored to go back in the fifth film are Jack Davenport as James Norrington, Mackenzie Crook as Ragetti, Lee Arenberg as Pintel, Keith Richards as Captain Teague, and Martin Klebba as Marty, according to IMDB's cast list.

A Deadline report also said that Oscar winner Javier Bardem is also rumored to join the fifth film. It however did not provide any more details about it.

Other actors who are rumored to join the film include Taron Egerton, George Mackay, Brenton Thwaites, Mitchell Hope, Ansel Elgort, and Sam Keeley, a separate Deadline report said. This has not yet been confirmed.

Another Screenrant report said that the "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" will be filmed in Australia. The filming will start in February 2015. The report also said that a $21.6 million incentive for the "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" has been confirmed by Queensland Senator George Brandis. He said this is "Australia's largest ever contribution to the financing of a major film." The production is also considered as the "largest international feature film ever shot in Australia," he said.

The first four films are "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl," "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest," "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End," and "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides."
