NFL London 2015 Dates, Teams & Tickets: Jets, Dolphins, Chiefs & Jaguars to Play in International Series

The NFL has released the schedule, consisting of three games, for the 2015 International Series in London.

In a report by NFL.com, the Miami Dolphins will play against the New York Jets on October 4, 2014, Sunday, for Week 4. The Jacksonville Jaguars will play against the Buffalo Bills on October 25, Sunday, for Week 7. And the Kansas City Chiefs will play against the Detroit Lions on November 1, Sunday, for Week 8.

The same NFL.com report revealed that it will be the first time that a divisional game will be played in London. For the International Series, it will be the first time for the Jets to play in the United Kingdom, while it will be the Dolphins' third. The official time slots are yet to be announced but it is possible that games might commence at 9:30 ET after the game between the Lions and Falcons was well-received both in the United States and the United Kingdom.

Mark Waller, NFL Executive Vice President of International, stated, "We are very appreciative of the outstanding support from our fans in the UK, not only for the games at Wembley, but for all of the related NFL events we have hosted throughout the city. We believe we have a great 2015 schedule that will continue to attract new fans to our sport and strengthen the bonds with our existing fans. To provide UK fans the opportunity to see games on consecutive weekends, to see new teams, and to attend a division game, which feature some of the most passionate rivalries in our sport, are signs of the growth and depth of our UK fan base."

In a report by ESPN, the hosts of the three games will be the Dolphins, Jaguars and Chiefs respectively.

Lions president Tom Lewand said in the same ESPN report, "It's another marker on the journey to an eventual long-term plan over there. Another milepost, about whether or not the support is there on a back-to-back basis. It was, we took a leap this year when we went from two games to three. Next year we'll take another leap when you have a division game over there and then you have back-to-back games that will occur in Week 7 and Week 8. It's another point of reference, another point of experience just to continue to build that brand and again, looking for whatever the right long-term solution is."

Since 2007, the NFL played regular-season games at Wembley Stadium. Bleacher Report wrote that the Jaguars previously agreed to play one home game in London for four years from 2013 to 2016.
