Bruce Jenner Sex Change Update: Family Supports Transformation

Those Bruce Jenner sex change rumors still refuse to die down, despite them being dismissed by the ex-athlete's estranged wife Kris Jenner and the former Olympian's own non-confirmation.

And now, what appears to keep observers talking about it is the fact that Kris' sister, Karen Houghton, is apparently supportive of the transformation - if proven to be true, that is. Currently, there has been no confirmation regarding the alleged sex change. But in case it were real, Bruce may find it comforting knowing he got his sister-in-law's back.

"I just look at it like whatever turns him on," Karen told InTouch in an interview. "Maybe he's just doing what he wants to do and doesn't care what other human beings think."

"He's been through a lot. As long as people are kind, let them be what they want. I say go for it!"

Quite the liberal-minded sister-in-law, isn't she?

Despite this, Karen said that she is actually surprised of this development as she didn't really see it coming in the 23 years that Bruce has been married to Kris.

"He was always so nice and built [my daughter] toys. I had no idea!" RadarOnline quoted her as saying.

"I'm sure my mom knows what's going on and Kris has told her things," she added. "But I'm sure it's embarrassing to talk about."

Karen and Kris' mother, Mary Jo Campbell, has appeared on "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" a couple of times and is likely privy to the real score.

However, Bruce had been spotted hanging out with Kris' BFF Ronda Kamihira. How does that pan out with him wanting a gender transformation?

"She's just looking for the limelight. She just wants to be famous ..." Karen said to RadarOnline.

Does that mean all those talks about Bruce dating Ronda are actually rigged by Kris for KUTK may be true?

"It's purely false that they are seriously dating!" a source was quoted by the Daily Mail as revealing. "Bruce suspects that the false rumours are coming from Kris' camp, and knows it's being used for the upcoming season of KUWTK."

"During recent filming with Kris, the two argued about Bruce spending time with Ronda," the insider shared further. "It came out of nowhere, and Bruce immediately realized he had been set up. Kris is making a big deal of their friendship for the show."

Is the divorce all for show, too? Kris, however, did say that divorcing "is not an easy thing," as noted by Us Weekly.

"I went through a divorce a long time ago with Robert Kardashian, and it was not fun," she shared. "It's a decision. Love is a decision, divorce is a decision. It's not a good decision, but we're happier living apart than we were together. Everybody feels it."
