Some things are just too freaky to look at, and one of them happened to be present in Kendall Jenner's 19th birthday party. All eyes were on Kim Kardashian when she was spotted sporting light eyebrows. Even a gorgeous woman like the socialite can't pull it off without people getting scared. A very drastic change in appearance may mean personal troubles (like marital problems, for instance) but Kim and Kanye are still happily married. The bleached brows are for a photo shoot.
The 34-year-old Kim snapped a photo of herself alongside model Cara Delevigne with her freaky new look, and it seemed that she understood that fans may get a little wigged. She cheerfully captioned the picture: "About last night... #KendallsBDayParty #DontBeScaredOfMyBleachedBrows #ItsForAPhotoShoot."
According to People, Kim and Cara are collaborating on what they call is a "secret" project, and although it hasn't been confirmed, the newly bleached brows may be part of it.
Despite the statement that it made, Us Magazine points out that Kim is not the first in their brood to sport bleached brows. In fact, the birthday girl was the first in the family to do so during her debut in the Marc Jacobs show during New York Fashion Week last February.
Maybe this will be a thing with the Kardashian clan (or is it klan?). Kendall made headlines, and Kim, being a fashion icon, can definitely start a trend. People did mention that North West's mother skyrocketed her way into the fashion world when she started her relationship with Kanye. If anyone can influence fashion-forward statements like bleached brows, it's the Kardashians.
Kim's eyebrows aside, however, how did Kendall celebrate her 19th birthday? The model's sister said, "We're going to go to a family lunch, and then later tonight Kendall's having like 15 people over for a little girls' party. I don't know if it's even a party, but a girls' gathering."
Kendall probably wasn't too happy about Kim stealing her spotlight on her birthday, even Khloe wasn't sure if Kim was invited to the little shindig. She told people, "I asked Kim, 'Oh, are you going tonight?' and she was like, 'I didn't know Kendall was doing anything!' I don't know if she was late to be invited, but I'm invited, so I feel good about that!"
The party seems quite tame, although from the photos, it seemed like it was not so much of a girls' gathering after all.
