Several highly anticipated basketball shoes have been released in the past months, making 2014 a good year for sneakerheads. However, there are still more to come in the following months.

1. Air Jordan X Holiday Retros
The Jordan XI "Pantone" and "Columbia" colorways are set to be released in time for Christmas. The Pantone XIs will be part of a collection called "Ultimate Gift of Flight" Pack, which will also feature the Jordan XX9 Pantone.
2. Air Jordan Remastered Editions
In a report by KicksDeals.com, the Remastered program of Jordan Brand will feature some of the most popular models and colorways in the line but with better materials and quality. Some of the Air Jordans that are expected to be improved include the Air Jordan IV "Oreo" and Air Jordan X "Chicago".
3. Nike Air Flightposite One "Carbon Fiber"
Complex.com also reported that the sleek-looking Air Flightposite is set to be re-released. Eric Avar, came up with the unique all-black carbon fiber design.
4. Nike LeBron 12
A few more colorways of the new Nike Lebron XII are also set to be released in November and December 2014, such as the "Dunk Force", "Instinct", "Six Meridians" and "Trillion Dollar Man", based on a report by Sneaker News.
5. Air Jordan VII Doernbecher
The Doernbecher edition of Air Jordans has been very successful. In the same KicksDeals.com report, the Doernbecher 7's were featured in the Knicks' blue and orange colorway.
6. Nike Air Max Penny 1 Retro
The Penny 1s remain among the most popular basketball sneakers of all time. In 2014, the "Game Royal" colorway was re-released as well as the "University Red" colorway.
7. Adidas D Rose 5 Boost
Derrick Rose of the Chicago Bulls returns just in time for Adidas' latest technology - the Boost midsole foam.
8. Adidas D-Lillard
Adidas also introduced the new low-top signature shoe of Portland's Damian Lillard. It is expected to be released before the end of 2014.
9. J Wall 1
Adidas presented the new J Wall 1, featuring John Wall's new logo. It is the first signature shoe of the Wizards' point guard, after showcasing Crazy Lights in years prior.
10. Jordan XX9
The latest in the numbered Jordans, the XX9s feature state-of-the-art technology and high-grade materials that will be ideal for any basketball player. The new models come in "Black/White" and "Fusion Pink" colorways, based on a report by Nike.com.
