"True Blood" stars Anna Paquin and husband Stephen Moyer have very recently welcomed twins into their world, according to representatives for both of the actors.
The "True Blood" lovebirds refused to make public details on exactly where and when the births occurred. They also chose not to announce the gender or names of the children, but did assure fans that they are the proud parents of two healthy but slightly premature infants.
"We can confirm that Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer recently welcomed twins into the world," representatives for both stars said in a joint statement. "The babies were born a few weeks early, but are in good health and both Mom and Dad are overjoyed."
Paquin and Moyer, who tied the knot in August of 2010, announced their pregnancy in April of this year. The twins mark Paquin's first foray into parenthood. Moyer, however has two children from previous relationships: 12-year-old Billy and 10-year-old Lilac.
The new parents will have to split their time between parenting and filming for the 6th season of "True Blood," which is expected to air in 2013. It has been reported that due to "economics" and Paquin's pregnancy, season 6 will only have ten episodes instead of the usual twelve.
In other celebrity baby news, Carson Daly and girlfriend Siri Pinter welcomed a baby girl into the world late last week. This is the couple's second child - they also have a 3-year-old named Jackson James.
"Tonight at 5:15 p.m. we welcomed the latest edition to our family," Daly wrote on his Facebook page on Thursday September 6th. "Etta Jones Daly weighs 8 lbs. and is beautiful!"
