Daenerys Targaryen (played by Emilia Clarke) has been annoying in the last season of "Game of Thrones": she really still is a naïve little girl who's trying to learn how to be a leader, and failing at it, to be honest.

But remember that time when she was a poor girl who we watched become strong in the presence of Khal Drogo (Jason Momoa), her moon and stars?

Hands up, whoever misses that beautiful Khal Drogo.

Unfortunately for the Khal's fans, he's as dead as the dead can be, and the last time we saw him as a dream sequence in season two was not nearly enough to satiate the thirst.

Fortunately, a new video of Jason Momoa has surfaced, and what's better than an amazing auditions video?

The footage of Momoa was, to say the least, intense, and showed exactly why he made the perfect Khal.

The actor really went for it, and according to Time, he landed the role by performing a traditional New Zealand dance called the Haka.

But why choose the haka? In an interview with Stuff New Zealand, the actor said, "It's very, very powerful, and I wanted to capture that. I just thought it was apt for the role because it's beautiful and scary."

Although best known as the warrior king in George R.R. Martin's series, Momoa is not a newcomer in the small screen. In fact, he was known as a hot guy from "Baywatch: Hawaii" and later on as Ronon Dex in the series, "Stargate."

But he wanted to be more than just the surfer dude that everyone knew him to be, and decided to try out a completely different character in the form of the Khal.

Speaking about the hit television series from HBO, Momoa said, "I don't think there's been anything like it [Game of Thrones] on TV. When I read the book I was completely floored, just the fact of being on one of the most amazing shows in the world. I'll never be able to play a role quite like that again."

It doesn't matter if we can't see him as Khal Drogo again, what's important is that he has another role to look out for - he was just cast as Aquaman and is slated to appear in the upcoming films by DC Comics.

Also, with flashback rumors happening in the next season of "Game of Thrones," we can only hope that we catch another glimpse of Momoa as the warrior king.
