Khloe Kardashian Lamar Odom Back Together? He Needs Rehab First [Rumors]

Things may not be over for estranged couple Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom just yet. 

With Khloe recently having split with short-term boyfriend French Montana and Lamar doing everything he can to win his estranged wife back, sources cited by Hollywood Life say that the two have begun talking once again. While a reconciliation is still unsure and likely far from now, the source revealed that Khloe still has feelings for her ex and may consider getting back with him if the latter changed his ways.

"Khloe still loves Lamar, but she's not even close to taking him back. He would have to prove that he's really changed. He'd have to go to rehab, which he hasn't done yet. But she does still love him, so it's possible," said the unnamed source. 

At least, the former NBA Lakers player reportedly made Khloe agree to talk to him face to face, where he poured his heart out. "Lamar apologized profusely for the past and didn't hold back his feelings," the source added. 

Khloe ended her short-lived relationship with French in September because he had become too "needy and obsessive," wrote Radar Online. The same article also revealed that Khloe had discovered text messages between her boyfriend and his ex-girlfriend Malika Haqq, most of which contained "inappropriate" messages, which prompted her to bolt. 

Lamar had played in the NBA and even participated in two championships with the Los Angeles Lakers. His career ended with the New York Knicks. The Knicks signed him in April 2014, but decided to waive him in July, according to ESPN. Lamar had been unable to perform up to standard so the team "found it necessary to free up the roster spot," the report added. He was replaced by Cole Aldrich. 

Just recently, his former step-father-in-law, Bruce Jenner, soon-to-be ex-husband of Khloe's mother, Kris Jenner, reportedly gave Lamar some advice on how to win his step daughter back. An unnamed source told Hollywood Life, "Bruce is old school, and tells Lamar that if he follows his heart and if his heart only beats for Khloe, go after her and don't stop. Bruce doesn't want to see Khloe or anyone hurt for that matter and he really thinks Lamar's a good guy who's perfect for Khloe."
