Brock Lesnar, the current WWE World Heavyweight champion, is set to battle either Big Show or Randy Orton next.

In a report by SportsKeeda, Lesnar will most likely be fighting Big Show for the title belt. Big Show is reportedly working on a tag team match with Mark Henry but will most likely be pitted against Lesnar too.

Randy Orton previously stated that he was getting tired of Seth Rollins picking fights with the likes of Dean Ambrose and John Cena while he and Kane take the damage. On Monday Night Raw on September 22, 2014, Cena and Ambrose attacked Orton and Kane as Rollins escaped into the crowd. His growing distaste for The Authority can develop into a great storyline that would propel him to a title shot against Brock Lesnar.

Bleacher Report wrote that in the past several months, Orton has been demoted to an irrelevant position. Currently, he assumes the role of Rollins' bodyguard. The idea of The Viper being taken advantage of by The Authority can be a good backstory to turn him into the cold-blooded character he once was.

Considering that Lesnar had a relationship with The Authority in the latter's strategy against John Cena, it creates a common link to Orton. Orton was never matched against Lesnar before so it would make sense for The Authority to "reward" Orton with a rematch against the WWE Heavyweight champ. The group generally intends for Lesnar to decimate Orton.

There were also rumors circulating that Lesnar was not in good health. In a report by SB Nation on Yahoo! Sports, Huck Holland was concerned about Lesnar's appearance at Night of Champions on September 21. He said that the champ looked purple and unwell. The WWE immediately released a statement that there is no truth to these talks. One source said that Lesnar was never scheduled to appear on Monday Night Raw the following night since he is still under contract to only work for a limited number of dates each year. He might not even be available for Hell in a Cell.

At present, a third match between Cena and Lesnar could be in the works for Hell in a Cell. However, fans are starting to grow tired of the matchup and Lesnar will most likely retain the championship belt while his days in the WWE stay limited. Randy Orton and Big Show will then be the most viable challengers during his short reign.

Do you think Orton or Big Show would make a better contender against Lesnar?
