It's the season of premieres, and next on the list is "The Walking Dead", with its Season 5 premiere set on October 12, and fans are excited to finally see what's going to happen to the gang.
In a new teaser for the series, a number of spoilers have been revealed. So if you'd rather not know what's going to happen until they actually do, it's best to skip, but if you're too excited, then by all means go on right ahead.
Here are the major spoilers from the latest teaser:
1) Terminus has been breached
... and zombies are chasing them again. "The Walking Dead" zombies may be slow and stupid, but apparently, they're smart enough to get into the safe haven, ruining it all for the gang.
2) Daryl and Carol reunite
The lovebirds are reunited while the gang escapes the undead and meet up together later on, at some point. It's more of a question on who's going to be alive when they finally meet up again. Like Rick said, "it's not over until they're all dead."
And "They" can't very well be the zombies, considering how many there are.
3) Three characters in one episode?
After Sasha claims, "Three of us are gone" the internet exploded -- can writers dare kill three characters in the season premiere? Possible, but according to the Metro UK, it is highly unlikely. Apparently Sasha was talking to Abraham and Rosita, who weren't aware that she and Tyreese were part of a group, three of whom are already dead.
4) It's a bloody season
You can't expect a series about zombies to be tame, can you? Although obvious from the trailer itself, in a spoiler from TV Line, the latest season is slated to be one of the bloodier ones, and there's a possibility that one of them just might die right off the bat for the first episode of the season.
5) It's going to be one emotional, epic ride
It seems that there's a lot of action for such a short trailer, but the best thing is that Wetpaint confirmed that special effects guru Greg Nicotero told AMC that the first episode of season five is going to be action-packed, saying, "The first episode of Season 5 that I just finished directing was the most challenging in terms of the scope, the amount of work and the story we told - we literally made an entire movie within nine days."
"The Walking Dead" returns on October 12 on AMC.
