If a story published last year by FoxNews regarding the time remaining for cancer-stricken Hugo Chavez on Earth is accurate, then Chavez should be getting prepared for his death-bed this month, April of 2012.

The media outlet wrote a report in November 2011 stating that Chavez was "not likely to survive more than six months," according to some sources within the Venezuelan government.

Chavez's health has apparently become more serious as his visits to Cuba to get medical treatment have become more frequent in recent months.

To add to the speculation, Hugo Chavez upon returning from his treatment in Cuba attended Mass on Thursday where here spoke about his ongoing struggle with cancer.

According to Fox News Latino, Chavez prayerfully said "Give me life even if it's ... painful life. I don't care. Christ, give me your crown. Give it to me, I will bleed. ... Give me life because I still have things to do for these people," during Mass. "Don't take me yet," he added.

Chavez was seen shedding tears among his parents and according to rumors could seek further treatment in Brazil.

Venezuela will be having general presidential elections in October of this year. If Chavez survives until then, he will be able to seek re-election although he is already facing some tough competition from the current governor of the state of Miranda, the second largest in the nation in terms of population, who according to national polls is seen as the favorite to win.

Is Chavez's time up?
