Khloe Kardashian French Montana Break Up? 'It Wasn't Working Out' [Rumors]

Another celebrity relationship is rumored to have gone kaput. Khloe Kardashian and French Montana's romance is reportedly over.

A source confirmed to People magazine that the reality star ended things with the rapper, who is said to have not accepted the split. E! News was the first media outlet to report the news. E! Network is the home of the Kardashians' reality shows.

"They're still talking though. It wasn't the perfect fit for her. For all intents and purposes, Khloé is single again. Khloé thinks he's a great guy, but it just wasn't working out," the source said.

The former couple dated for eight months. Their relationship reportedly hit a snag when Khloe felt the Moroccan-born musician was too needy for her. 

"They are on a break. The relationship got too heavy and Khloe needed to take a step back. It grated on her that he became so dependent on her," another source told US Weekly.

Moreover, the magazine discovered that despite the fact that the "Cocaine Mafia" rapper was featured prominently in "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," the Kardashians have not really warmed up to him, especially the family matriarch, Kris Jenner. The other family members who are rumored to be suspicious about French's intentions? Famous selfie-obsessed sibling, Kim Kardashian-West, and stepfather Bruce Jenner.

Although there is no word yet from Khloe or her family's camp regarding her reported breakup with French, the reality star posted a rather cryptic Instagram quote on Thursday.

The quote was from poet Robert M. Drake, which read, "Maybe one day we'll find that place where you and I could be together. And we'll catch our dreams within the waves of change. So smile for me one last time and believe that we'll meet again. Until then, I'll be missing you."

Hollywood Life noticed that Khloe posted a message on social media two days before the cryptic note was posted. She shared a photo of roses she might have received from French, and added a caption that read, "Oh man, I just LOVE surprises!!! I'm a lucky girl!!! #Smiling."

On the other hand, did Khloe break up with French because of fear that she might say yes to marriage again? The Mirror quoted a source close to the situation, who said that French was more smitten to Khloe than she to him.

"He has started to look at rings. French knows she's the one for him. They've discussed their future and she's said she would marry him. If he got his way, French would propose soon, and they would marry by the end of the year. So Khloé is going to try to push her divorce through as soon as possible," the source added.

Khloe has filed for divorce from NBA player, Lamar Odom, in December 2013.
